The LGB type dry-type organic composite current transformer is an independent and innovative technology of China. The original model is the LGW-type dry-type high-voltage current transformer. High temperature vulcanized silicone rubber is used as outer insulating material. There are currently only traditional oil-filled and SF6 gas-filled current transformers in the world.

Its shape is a U-shaped double-arm structure. The inside of the U-shaped double-arm structure is a primary carrier fluid, and a capacitor-type main insulating core is wound on it. The outer sheath is tightly wrapped on the capacitor core, and the bottom is a shell. body with built-in secondary winding. The bottom shell is equipped with a measuring terminal, which is opened for partial discharge or dielectric loss measurement, and must be reliably grounded during normal operation.
